Boston Public Health Commission One of the divisions is responsible for gathering large amounts of compliance data. Paper forms were used to collect data and statistics for reporting and compliance levels were manually calculated. Business Technologies analyzed the processes that were in place and created an Access database to enter in all relevant data. The result was a system that provided robust compliance reports and allowed the commission to automate the certification and compliance process.
Cambrooke Foods: This client has a large data feed generated from their online store transactions and wanted to gain an understanding of what their customers purchased by creating a marketing database. Business Technologies created an Access database that parsed the data and created reports that provided quick and easy customer purchasing analysis. We also created a mail merge process for them that allowed them to query their customer database and merge the results into a Word document for marketing purposes.
Acton Auto Brokers turned to Business Technologies to create spreadsheets that tracked their sales forces performance; cars sold and sources of leads. The new spreadsheets allowed them to better measure performance and ROI on advertising.
